Olympia Greek Restaurant in Papenburg

Delivery came on time, had pre-ordered. A friendly young man brought the food and it tasted so delicious that it was my birthday meal, thanks for that.

The first time there I was dissatisfied. It seems as if mushrooms have recently been in the Metaxa sauce, which are definitely a matter of taste and make the dishes inedible for one or the other. Unfortunately, the mushrooms are not mentioned in the menu in any way, but from my point of view this is recommended. Otherwise always satisfied.

The Olympia 4-course menu was consistently inedible but hot. Never again. I have the feeling that quite a few reviews are fake.

We ordered here for the first time today. Our order was still gladly accepted even though it was 1 minute before the end (which we unfortunately saw online too late) Food was there in 1.5 hours. Very disappointing, we ordered from Olympia and we were supplied by AlGaucho. Many dishes did not correspond to our order and then paid for more. We will no longer order there.

The delivery service experience was very disappointing ... € 21 for 2 very dry beef steaks drowned in Metaxa cheese sauce. The "cream potatoes" were a compact lump of sloppy, overcooked potatoes and much too spicy (too much pepper). The gyros was also swimming in sauce and cheese, unfortunately there was no salt. The delivery time for 2 dishes was 2 hours, the only positive thing, the food was delivered warm. It's a shame actually.

!!! Not order !!! prices far too expensive for a metaxa cheese mushroom. Beef had a very watery taste and was already black from the outside. I couldn't identify the cream potato as such, looked like a ready-made lasagne ..... save your money.

We had ordered, the food should come at 8 p.m. Called 9pm and asked, 9.10pm the meal came. It was almost all cold and tasted like something from a snack. We are very disappointed and will probably go to another Greek next time.

Very long waiting times. (More than an hour) The food was average, but not really Greek. The starter salad was really cheap. Not recommended for the prices. You have the feeling that the delivery service, which is also operated, is being processed with priority and the customers in the restaurant are just a side business.

Here we passed unexpectedly and were not disappointed. In addition to the dishes and drinks ordered, there was delicious tzatziki, peppers and olives as well as ouzo. The place and the toilets were clean. We were completely satisfied. We will be back.

Wow, mega delicious .. If hospitality has a name, then this restaurant. The ambience is certainly always important to us Germans, but let yourself be enchanted by the delicious cuisine. I could order the card up and down again. Nothing but nothing to complain about here. A cook who has his heart not only in the right place but also a stove or grill. So come in and enjoy the hospitality. Nobody goes home unaffected ..

We like to stop here often. The service is warm, amusing and always quick to respond. The generous Greek temperament can still be felt here. The menu is clear, the food is delicious and outstanding. Here the cook knows his trade.

Decoration in the squares and in the entire restaurant is sensible and aesthetic. The toilet is always clean and all in all the place gives a nice impression. I can only recommend this restaurant! Here it has never happened to me that a dish was cold on the table. The selection of drinks also leaves nothing to be desired. Super great and polite service. I think all the staff did a very good job there.

Best service and waiter. Compared to Berlin by far the best Greek and worth every trip. Main courses and salads are freshly prepared and taste wonderful.

We were at the Olympia on July 18, 20 for dinner. The food was great. It was hot and tasted really good. The waitress was very helpful and friendly. There was plenty of ouzo, just like a Greek restaurant. Olympia is our favorite restaurant in Md.

The food (and especially the wine) tasted delicious and a lot went to the house. The waiter regularly served ouzo (as it should be for a good Greek) and also enjoyed drinking one or the other. I would come back anytime!

We were looking for a nice restaurant today. Our wish was fulfilled in this restaurant. The owner looked after us optimally and made us feel very welcome. The food was very good and plentiful. The restaurant is highly recommended and we will be back when we are in town. Please support the local bars. Because of Corona, everyone is dependent on it.

We ordered through Pizza.de. The food arrived within an hour, was packed well and arrived hot. We ate from there for the first time and are really thrilled. It was really plentiful and delicious! The quality of the food was perfect. Any time!!!

Very friendly, the food was delicious and plenty of it on the meat for two platter including Greek salad, chips and rice, tzatziki and bread, the ouzo kept coming along with a couple of lagers at the end of the meal free of charge
